Maaori room opening

On Friday the 29th of August my mother and I, along with over 100 more people arose from our deep sleeps at about 4.00am. That is right four in the morning! We woke up super early to be a part of the opening of the new Maaori room opening at my school. It was quite a good turn up and we had some special guests. Buck Shelford who is an ex-rugby player. We also had Hone Harawera who is a member of the Maaori party in New Zealand. We got welcomed into the new room and had a plaque fro the new room. We went around and touched all the walls and had a karakia. Then we got seated and everyone got up and had speeches and did a waiata, which in English means a song. Something really cool is that there was a camera man there, it wasn't just an ordinary person with a camera, he was from a television channel. He was from Maaori television. He had filmed quite a lot of stuff but I knew that it wasn't all going to be on, like when I got up did my speech. However I knew I was definitely going to be on Maaori television because when the camera man was interviewing Hone Harawera me and my friend Jamie asked if we could be in the background and he said yes. YES! So I saw myself on T.V.! YES! Ha-ha! After all that stuff we had a feed and it was good! Over all it was a really good morning and I think it was worth getting up at for in the morning!

PRETTY RICKY

Pretty Ricky is most definitely the most amazing bad in history in my heart. I'm not usually all soft and sappy but if they were to tour New Zealand I can bet my bottom dollar that I'll be there no matter how hard it takes I will make it there! The main reason I am head over heals about them is because there music is so great! Best in the world! There lyrics are so great and the tracks they chose for their lyrics are also great. It would be my life's dream to meet them or at least watch them perform live. The members making up Pretty Ricky are:
Pleasure P (my favourite) He is the lead guy and the only singer because the rest just rap. I believe he is the greatest singer in the world!
Next Spectacular (He is my next favourite) Like he says in one of his raps "the ladies call me SPECTAC". He has an amazing body! ha-ha
The other members are: Baby Blue and Slick'em. Which are also bloody wonderful!
I have every single one of their songs possible and listen to them daily!
I LOVE PRETTY RICKY!

The Olympics

I really, really enjoy watching the Olympics. I love just coming home from school sitting my self on the couch after a long educated day adn watching the Olympics. Seeing all the countries of the world come together and compete against each other.

One thing I am very amased about the Olympics is how incredibly skilled people are at their sports. One Olympics athletes beat outstanding records, then four years later at the next one they beat them again. That has been happening since forever! We just get better and better, like a never ending chain. Damn, I mean how good can you get? Next thing you know people wll be breaking records with a second!

With some athletes I start to double think wether they are human or some hardcore athetic robot. Seeing people bike ride for about 160kms is outrageous, men bike riding for 6 hours, Too me that is just unreal, I would conk out after 20minutes. Also seeing teens in the olympics for gymnastics and that stuff, imagine being that commited at such a young age...

Rowing, I've always loved rowing and longed to do it for so long! I want to do itso bad but Whangaparaoa just doesn't have the gear or facilities. You would get so fit doing rowing, I need that! New Zealand are doing so well at rowing in the Olympics! Out of 8 heats we came 1st in 6 and 2nd in 2. We are doing great and I think we will carry that out well! I hope we carry on doing good.

Homework

Damn! Lately homework has been so stressful. A little bit of homework isn't bad but when you have so much to do i such little time it's bloody hard! I have loads of Math homework to do, I just finished my English or finishing right now by doing this. I have Art homework due and HEAPS of Social Science because I have been absent. It all has to be done in such short amount of time. I so can't wait to not have to do homework! If that day ever comes...

Pretty Ricky

Pretty Ricky, they are all brothers and they are all fantastic. There songs are so smooth and they are amazing at delivering! They have nice slow songs but also hype songs with an up beat. My favourite member of Pretty Ricky is definitely Pleasure P, he is so big in my life. Pleasure p is like the best singer in this entire world and his voice is so good and nice! I want to meet him so bad! He is the main reason I like Pretty Ricky! Apart from Pleasure P my other favourite member is Spectac (short for spectacular), because he is spectacular! They are the bomb!

Ludacris

Ludacris, now he is the best rapper on this planet, every other planet too. One of his main aspects that make me idolise him is the lyrics to his raps. Not only does he present him self great but the lyrics are out of this world. I would do anything to meet him. I idolise him to the max!

Boyz II Men

Boyz II Men 3 male singers, there use to be 4 members but reduced to 3. Anyway I am there biggest fan ever. I could just listen to hours straight off Boyz II Men song. They are so smooth and i idolise them! Their songs are so meaningful, kind and sweet. The lyrics to their song are beautiful and they have the most amazing voices.

I went to the Boyz II Men concert and it was honestly the greatest night of my young life. It was a million more times amazing listening live. I got to shake 2 of the members hands while they were singing. One of them was my favourite.

Damn they're so talented!

Will Smith

Man I love Will Smith! He is so awesome and always has been, he is hilarious! He ain't ugly either if you kind of get my catch. ha-ha. He is a great actor and I love everything he has stared in. Not only is he a good actor and comedian thingy but he is also a REAL GOOD singer and rapper! Gosh he is definitely one of my idols and he is doing very well for himself!

Adele

I am incredibly clueless off what to write about so I decided I am going to write about my good friend Adele.

Adele is like really cool and I have been GOOD friends with her since we were like 4. We still are GOOD friend and it has been about 11 years! Gosh that is quite a lot ha-ha!

Yeah so that is about it, hope to stay tight!

New bed

Well I got a new bed and I can't even explain how wonderful it is. My last bed was REALLY TINY and I couldn't even roll over in it, dreadful!

Although my lasy best was very compfortable I had clearly outgrown it. I like beds that are hard and I refuse to sleep on a soft bed that sinks in otherwise i'd be up all night.
The new bed I have is nice adn hard to and very compfortable by my standards! Now i can also roll over in my bed, and not just once! Like 3 times!
Now I just got to keep my cat off!

Holidays

The holidays were great, just chilling back with whanau and having not to go to school. When ever it's the weekend I always go to stay with my dad because I am the biggest daddy's girl in the entire world. Please believe me! ha-ha!

This holidays i went to Whangarei to stay with my dad's missus for a few nights. Straight after that me and my wonderful father drove up to Kaikohe also known as kiax or ehokiak ha-ha! Up there I stay with my Auntie Gurlie, she is so cool right. She always has REAL mean as food there! Like 3 blocks of chocolates, hundreds of cookies and HEAPS of cakes because she bakes heaps!I stayed up there for a week adn also went for a drive to Kawakawa and Kerikeri.

After staying in Kaikohe for about a week I went back to Whangarei, Onerahi to stay with my dad's missus again. I went into town went shopping and watched Hancock at the movies and yeah. It was a laid back holiday and it was great. Also my nephew Dre came and stayed at my house, it's weird because my nephew is older than me!

Where I see myself in 10 years

Since the age of 17, which is in less than 2 and a half years I would like to join the New Zealand army. In 10 years time when I am 24 I will still be in the army, doing tough, ruthless stuff. I have always wanted to join the army, I want a challenge, I like physical. My sister is in the army and my other sister's boyfriend has been. They say it is really challenging, not only is it strict and tough it is also good to meet new people and get out there and do something new.

A good aspect about the army again is that they pay for your degree and you don't have to pay for rent. I see the commercials on television advertising the army, I try to get all them tricky questions right and try to do all of them press ups and sit ups. It would be so adventurous and I can't wait.

In the army I would probably want to be one of them sooting people, who shoot guns. I don't know what it is called though. My sister is a driver in the army and has lisences to heaps of different vehicles like a tank. When your in the army yo9u get to travel New Zealand and all that, sweet as!

I would like to stay in the army for as long as possible and make the most of life!

Once were Warriors clip

This might be a million times too violent to watch!
I don't know if I should keep it on...
In this scene:
Jake the mus' daughter Gracie always keeps a diary. Which Jake is reading at the start of this scene. His daughter Gracie was raped by her Uncle Bully, the guy who is getting beaten. She wrote that her Uncle Bully raped her in her diary then she hung herself. This is after she has died and they found her diary and read this page.
Sorry if it is too harsh.
Comment if you want me to take this link off

Once were warriors

Jake the Muss---->>>

I was going to make this blog about The television series "Outrageous Fortune". I love that programme because it is just a true West programme and it is pretty much true. Their lives they are living is pretty much how some people live in New Zealand. All the strength, strive and horrible problems they go through.

Once were warriors is the next step up, the highest step there is I think. That is rough, rough stuff. Truly how some Maoris in Aotearoa live. It is a great movie with horrible, horrible things in it. I can relate to some of it. Not all the really harsh things that have happened to the mains but the surroundings. It is a really strong movie that you will not forget if you see it. The actors are amazing! I love Temuwera Morrison, if you are clueless as to who that is he. He is that new guy that showed up on Shortland street. I don't watch that programme but I have seen the ads.

It invloves gangs, phyiscal abuse, sexual abuse, death, drunks, homeless and so much more. Something I found on the internet described it as New Zealand Maori's gang violence.

If you haven't seent his movie I strongly advise you to watch it, you will not forget it!

It is not really suitble for young audience at all! It may be too harsh for even you to watch.

It is the real lives some people live...

Kayla off Desperate Houswives

That stunts that Kayla has played over the last few episodes were absolutely preposterous! I just wanted to slap the little girl. Everybody didn't really know her and thought she was a perfect little angel. Lynette was the only one who really knew what she was like. She was pure evil!

I know it is bad but seen it is only a programme it is alright to say that Kayla deserved the slap Lynette gave her!

I am so glad she gto caught out! It was about time. Her father Tom did the right thing. Good work buddy!

Winter

I love winter when you are lying in bed cuddled up in you blankets, listening to the rain falling on the roof. I love the winter clothes, maybe a little more than the summer clothes. Maybe I just love clothes, maybe that is all it is. The jumpers rock and so do them skins. ha-ha! I love winter as long as I am wearing warm clothes or in a warm place! Its is also good because it is not like summer, stinking hot!

I hate winter when you have sports training or something and you are forced not to wear jumpers and all that and you are absolutely freezing your arse off! I hat winter when you are not wearing warm clothes like in school when you have to wear shorts or skirt.

I don't know if I like Winter or Summer better...

Summer

I love summer, I love swimming and just lying in the sun. I like summer because the clothes look cool. I am a total arse for just talking about clothes and all that but summer does have sweet clothes. The nights are still bright so you can stay out for longer. I love barbecues in the summer with your family. I like when you go out at night it isn't totally freezing. I hate when you go out at night in winter and it is like almost deathly freezing.

I don't like summer because sometimes it just gets way too hot and you would do anything, for an ice-block, swim, drink or shade but there is none around. At school when it is killing hot you just want to go home and sit in front of the fan but you just can't.

I'm not sure if I like summer or winter better...

I love my Daddy

I love my Daddy absolutely to bits! I don't call him my Daddy or anything that cheesy I'm just it using now. He is not perfect, he is not always sweet. He is just my dad, I love him. He spoils me so much and because I don't live wit him it makes our relationship even stronger. When he's gone I miss him and when he is there I love it. He has many children but treats me like the princess.

He is definitely not perfect, he is always late. When ever he says he will be there at 5, you know that means he'll be there at 8. He drinks a lot I would say, strictly Lion Red but that doesn't make me love him one bit less. I love him for who he is because he is just my dad.

He gets me what I want, but doesn't over extend the average barrier a parent should. He loves the T.A.B. anyone that knows him would know this. I'm fine with that. I love dad's cooking, yum! He cleans, he is the bomb!

I love him, you better not out him down for a second!

Strong thoughts

I always have really strong thoughts and opinions! I just had to share a situation that I always go through with you. Someone who is angry at you is yelling at you. Shouting all the things you did wrong. You know inside you have a really good explanation to back yourself up. It's not an excuse it's true, you know it will work and show them you're right and their wrong.

You want to share what this is so badly, you have to, you must! I wish you could, but you know inside you are going to get such a hiding if you do. What you want to say would make it all better. By you opening your mouth will get you in trouble though, it'll make them even more angry at you. If only they could hear you out and know that what happened was all backed up for a reason. If they just listened all would be over. Just sitting there taking the anger in knowing that this doesn't have to be the way...

(I am sorry if this makes no sense at all to you)

Losing a loved one

This morning my feet are sunken, my heart has sunken and my usual upright facial lines are facing down.

I would do anything not to go to school right now but my unmindful mother doesn't feel my indisposed pain.

Children around me seemed full of pure ecstasy but I was astray, lost in my own pale world. The skies were pale, aside with the pale buildings, trees and everything else that makes up my division.

Is this truly happening, is my mind inaccurate? Or is it just because me heart doesn't want to accept the truth. To this day Ii still can't believe he has gone. Someone has once told me that everything happens for a reason. God needed him more than us. It has a strong meaning to me, but I can't understand why god would want to hurt me so bad.

I snap back to realty and see my peers in my face, neighbouring me, asking if I was alright because I seemed deadly quiet to them.

I couldn't help the fact my heart had cracked, and I broke down exceedingly. My tears were stolen from the fatal loss of him, I can't help but cry unconditionally.

This is without a doubt my worst day at school. I couldn't work, talk or even see because my tears are blocking my vision.

R.I.P. my cousin, missed so badly!

Whangaparaoa

Whangaparaoa, I really do despise this place! I would do anything to be able to move. I mean yes, it would be tough to leave my friends but there is so much more out there. This town is horrible and boring! It's too quiet, I am not saying I want to hear gun shots or anything though. It is like a massive retirement village. Thhe school is boring, there is nothing to do at breaks and the options are very pittyful.

The people around Whangaparaoa are major bums. Not being mean to anyone, but there are random people you just see around everywhere who just walk around amd think they own the pace. Plaza bums suck!

I would really like to move to Wellington. Really anywhereut Wellington sounds good. Get right away! I wouldn't mind moving to Thames with my Nana and Grandad, but my mother won't let me.

I've always hated this place but no one can quite understand how I feel!

Boil up

Boil up is so delicious! A traditional Maori dish (major laughing). When ever I go to my dad's house or my dad's families house we always have at least one serving of this scrumptious dish.

In boil up the meat is usually pork bones, sometimes brisket but you can really chuck heaps in. Boil up always has just potatoes, which are just great. Sometimes Kumara, yum sweet, sweet Kumara! One of my favourite parts about a boil up is the dough boys. Dough boys are just flour, water and baking powder with a pinch of salt. You roll them in balls then chuck 'em in the pot.
Another top favourite is the greenery. Every meal has to have greenery and in this meal the greenery used is puha or watercress. I like both of them! Puha is just the dandelion plant but before the flowers bloom and everything. Watercress is just found in drains on the side of the road and things like that(major laughing again).

You cook all of these delicious ingredients together in like boiling water I think. I just eat it not cook it so I don't really know. Anyway it is great and the puha or watercress is really nice with tomato sauce. Then you pour salt all over it and dig in!

Maori style feed!

Boyz II men concert

The Boyz II men concert

31st May 2008 7:00pm

Logan Campbell centre Greenlane Epsom Auckland

The Boyz II men concert was the greatest experience of my entire young life.

It was more than I expected it to be!

I approached the place with a nervous feeling and left with overwhelmed memories.

Boyz II men sing slow soulful, harmonized music. They are not a new group but have brought out a few new songs. Boyz II men is made out of 3 African American men, it was originally 4 men but is now 3. Two of the men are brothers. All of their voices sound beautiful together, they harmonize magnificently! A lot of their music is to do with females because they are of the opposite sex, but their songs are about love and that kind of stuff.

I made an awesome new friend at the Boyz II men concert. We traded our love for Boyz II men and went crazy all night when they were singing their wonderful music. They sung all my favourite songs which sounded just as good live.

Can you stand the rain

Dear God

End of the road

It's so hard to say goodbye to yesterday

on bended knee

4 seasons of loneliness

A song for mama

water runs dry

I'll make love to you

Motown Philly

and a lot more!

They also sung songs from their new album "Motown:hitsville USA"

which is an album of number one hits in the USA, old songs kind of.

Some of them are:

It was just my imagination

Tracks of my tears

I can't remember the rest but there was quite a few.

The best part of the night would definitely the bit where I got to shake to of their hands!

See I brought the cheapest ticket on sale, while I was about to find my seat someone approached me and asked if I wanted to trade seats with them. Which was good because he payed a lot of money for his ticket which meant it was up the front by the stage. My original seat was on the second story. Anyway I traded seats and got to sit up by the real front.

The first performances were by the top hip dancing groups in New Zealand. A girl's group

"The lil Saints" also the guys group who I personally thought were better "Sweet and Sour" All the guys were extremely eye catching!

The second performance was by Adeaze, they are awesome singers. Same sort of singers as Boyz II Men except Boyz II men are a billion times better. They had a singing competition with a couple of girls in the crowd, quite entertaining.

The winning performance was without a doubt Boyz II men! They were off the hook! It was at that moment I loved where I was sitting, well standing really because I was standing on my chair. Anyway I ran around to the front of the stage and got to shake my favourite guys hand and my second favourite! It was the greatest moment ever, I freaked in thrill!

Overall best thing that has ever happened to me! I left with a Boyz II men t-shirt and the most amazing memories ever!

I LOVE BOYZ II MEN!

It is 3rd period on a Tuesday and I have English, I slowly approach the door in an undesired manner. I wasn't in the mood for class and i was dreading this! I grasped the door handle, paused for slight second; the opened the door. Creek! The outdated, and heavy door budged open then closed strong behind me. I glared upwards to the ceiling then down to the front of the class where I was greeted by a very familiar face.

Ms Culiford had decided to give our class a second chance. A petite smile lit up inside of me. I clenched my seat firm and politely sat down, only hoping that the work assignment that is going to be given to us is amusing and something enjoyed to do.

"Listen up brats, your task is to write your opinion on Whangaparaoa College". I heard sighs coming from all sides of the classroom. All the students had disillusioned looks on their faces, I thought otherwise. As usual I like having strong opinions on what I think and I am not afraid to show them.

I looked out the window, beautiful, rainy weather. I love working in the rain it is insignificantly relaxing. I see no loud construction taking place outside the classroom, which is a change. I smell the pleasant smell of gas coming from the elderly gas heater. I see all the students with their heads down working away. Everybody was on task, I think they were just hanging out for lunch in an hour.

I am writing stacks of writing when I am interrupted by Ms Culiford's over powering voice floating through the classroom. "You kids can eat brain food, fruit" Brain food? Yes! I love eating brain food during class. It gives you a delinquent feeling, doing something that is not usually allowed.

I'm munching away on my apple and madarine, while writing my strong disagreements against this moronic school. I am working as hard as I was the first time we had Ms Culiford relieving in English class. This peroid all the other children were too, I was amazed! I turn my head away off the children and onto Ms Culiford. Sitting on her fancy chair, lucious brown hair and hair perfect skin with not a fine line in sight."wow"! Ms Culiford looks good, I say to myslef. She doesn't look a day over 30!

Although I have been thouroghly enjoying this period I am hanging on a fine string for lunch. Face it, no peroid of class can beat lunch time. Although break time is unconditionally boring I guess it is better than class time. The upside of lunch time is hanging out with your buddies. "Damn"! I just realised it was still raining, which means wet lunch time! That means I have to stay in my drop kick classroom. "Keep a positve attitude Courtney", I strictly remind my mind. I should really not ruin this perfect period by thinking about whats waiting for me after this.

AVATAR: The Legend of Aang

Avatar: The legend of Aang is pretty much my best and the best programme EVER!

I can't really explain how awsome this programme is, it is so much more than just a programme actualy. Avatar: The legend of Aang is more of a live's story. I could never miss out on a single episode of this.

My favourite character is Prince Zuko, he is so mean!

Avatar: The Last Airbender (also known as Avatar: The Legend of Aang in several countries) The show is set in an Asian-influenced world of martial arts and elemental manipulation; the series follows the adventures of Aang and his friends, who try to save the world from war with the Fire Nation. The show's protagonist Aang is trapped in an iceberg when he is found by two members of the Southern Water Tribe, Katara and Sokka After being freed from the iceberg, Katara and Sokka join Aang on a long journey across the globe; their ultimate goal is to give Aang the skills to defeat the Fire Lord, and end the war. In the series' terminology, each episode is referred to as a "chapter", and each season as a "book."

I know that was very naughty copying and pasting the paragraph above but I didn't quite know how to explain what it is about.

THINGS I WANT TO DO BEFORE I CAN NOT DO THINGS ANYMORE:

- Go to barli, the country; there is such good, and cheap shopping there.

- Go to Fiji, and just enjoy the beaches and sun!

- Move out of Whangaparaoa, I strongly dislike it (hate)!

- Win Lotto, and support all my family with it

- See a spirit, hopefully in a very calm way, no frights. I want to see one just so I know there is nothing to be scared of.

- Meet all my favourite celebrities!

- Go to the Boys II Men concert. 31st May 2008 7:00pm!

I am sure there are plenty more! This is all I can think of at this particular time.

Massive jump

As I was standing there trembling with fear there was one hundred thoughts going through my head.

"What let him talk me into it? I'm foolish and I'll die critically"!

As I got the hint that his feet had shot into the air off the brick wall, I panicked!

I knew he was going to land on me, squish me flat like a pancake!

He seemed so confident, I didn't want to put him down, and say I didn't trust him. Before he had taken off I got into position and got my self prepared for this, but I am not prepared and it is too late! My heart beats unconditionally!

I am taking a giant, deep breath and i feel the breeze of his body passing over my hair. Waiting to feel a powerful thump to my head and fall smack on the ground, I feel nothing...

Nothing at all, had he made it? Or had this moment frozen.

Neither. . .

jokes!

He made it, and as proud as he felt I was feeling proud too!

Proud for me, for standing beneath him while he attempts the jump.

Also for him because he jumped me.

Choice work Logan!

ha-ha

Whangaparaoa College in the future

I walked in the front gate, Which was new seeing as last year it was just a path.I approach my friends and all of the other kids that hang around us cool cats "wow"!All the kids have brand new blackberries given to them from the school and all the new gadgets. The school had been updated to a rich life style. The buildings were renovated and were now all made of chrome! I personally thought it was over done up but also superior at the same time.Apart from the major updates there was something very different about Whangaparaoa college. My friends and I wobbled into our class dreadfully not ready to learn. When I peered through the door my mood instantly changed! There we flash new gold laptops sitting at every desk! Ready to be tapped away by kids! Every desk had flash wheelie chairs and Holographic projectors next to all the lap tops.

We didn't Finish it yet. This still needs to be worked on.

This weekend

This weekend was awsome!

I had a lot of fun this weekend and did heaps of new things that I really enjoyed.
I satyed the night at my friend Narelle's house, she is a wee bit crazy ha-ha!
I went to this gym called "Lesmills" in Auckalnd city with Narelle and her mother. We went on heaps of different exercise machines, my favourite was the rowing machines.

We saw T.K. from Shortland street, the dramatic New Zealand soap opera.
He must work out there.

We watched workout classes like Bodyjam wgich we were going to do but ddecided to sit out on.

My favourite part of the whole thing was the saunas and spas. There was a steam sauna which was so totally wicked! It smelt kinda nice and it was like strong, thick fog that made you wet! ha-ha yes. We were singing really loud in it because no body else was in it. Then some lady came in, NAKED! All the people in the sunas were fully naked and lying down like Rose on Titanic posing naked. It was really strange. We were NOT naked becuase we are not that dodgy!

Then the rest of my weekend was just laid back adn sweet as!

Not looking foward to school ha-ha!

Creative writing: A friend

She can have her bad days and her good days. One her bad days she can be extremely moody but she can put on a good face. She LOVES clothes and all things that have an extremely high price tag! It is Grace! Grace can be kind and very caring, she smiles a lot and tends to go red in the face. My friend Grace can complain. Wow! She can complain about anything she wants and there won't be an end to it! That is what makes her who she is. She is modern and can act very Elegant also is a total G! People think she s spoilt, which she is because she gets to move into her brothers massive room because he is moving out. The things I say to describe her may sound bad, but to me they are good; and that is why she is an awesome mate! G.M.J.G.

.

That last blog entry was so hard to do. I had no idea in the world what I was like suppose to write!

Knowing without seeing

She is very fit and athletic, you can tell as she goes for runs daily.
She is nosey as you can tell by the way she asks if there is gossip after every tiring day of school.
She cuts hair as a living but dreadfully despises it so she has a small job on the side.
She grew up in the country so has an out door attitude. She is mentally strong and is a very good mother. She can control her children unlike those soft and sappy mothers you see at the mall with their children. Those mothers don't know how to control kids and they grow up to be spoilt and get things their way! She has an amazing technique as to how to raise children, it is more of a job really. She is independent and works hard! She is Superwoman!

Ceative writing

I am in the air, sky high attempting the trick of my career. "The Superman"! My arms are out far and my legs are leeped out over my airbourn bike. My heart is beating fast, hoping my move will be safe and succussful.

There are atleast 24 people watchin me, they all gaze in perplexity. Their eyes are glowing while I'm in the air. Such mastery nad triumph, they are thinking.

owever i think much differently, all I am thinking is whether I am going to succeed this jump or dreadfully bail! If I succeed I will be pampered and be acknowledged for being the best there is. If i bail total humiliation but worst of all, pain and major injuries. Maybe i shouldn't have done this in the first place, comes the thought slipping into my fooloish mind but there is no turning back now!

I clip the handlebar of my bike with my right foot which was currently out infornt of the rest of y body. I kick my right leg out with all of my might , The front of my foot still gripping to my handlebars. I reach down to garb my handlebars with my hands and throw my body onto my bike. I start to fall to the ground along with my bike in a steady condition.

The landing was a hard thumb as my body was shaken and almost thrown off my bike, but I landede it! All I hear is cheering as the crowd approaches me to pat my back adn shake my hand. My heart atill beats uncoditionally. I had done it. I succeeded the trick no one else has, This means popularity!

Whanau

WHANAU (FAMILY)
I love my whanau very much, they are the world to me!
without my family I don't know where I would be. Well obviously not here because they brought me into this world. They are there for me no matter what! Because of them I am educated at school, I have a roof over my head, I have clothes on my back and I have people that care for me. We have good times and bad times but they won't let that get in the way of loving you. My family is very close and extremely large. Just on my dad's side of the family I have about 30 first cousins. WOW, that is alot! It is good to have a big family. It just means more people to have good times with and more people that love you. It is good to have a big family on my dads side beacuse I have no family on my mum's side apart from adoptive Grandparents. In conclusion I love my family so very much and always will beacuse they always will and they come first in my mind and heart!

HOMELEARNING

Homelearning(work) is extremely annoying!Homelearning is a way of learning out of school. However we go to school 6 hours a day, 5 days a week. That's enough time to learn how to just do the learning at school. yes, it's not that bad in one of your classes. But with all your classes and option's homelearning put together is just breathtaking (in a bad way). I could easily handle one class though that's only mind blowing (in a bad way). The more homelearning we do at home just wears our brains out for the times we are at school. Another reason that homelearning is annoying is because you have to buy all your homelearning books. Our families have to pay for our fees and our uniform and then go and have to buy all your homelearning books as well. Personally I'm not made of money! I have to spend over $50 dollars on homelearning books this year. That's way out of my range of what I would pay to do learning out of school which I could just do in school! I have never heard of anything called homelearning until this school changed the simple word everyone knows Homework to homelearning! That's too P.C.Homelearning gives us students no free time and no social life with our whole life dedicated to homelearning. When I get home from school i start my homelearning straight away and don't finish until very late at night, and mostly I have to get up early to finish it because there is just too much! Which gives me no time at all after school for anything else!I know homelearning is good for us though, but can't we just do it at school only?I don't mind homelarning but not the amount I get!

Museum Trip

On Friday the 14th March i visited Auckland Museum on a school trip to view the section on World Wars because we are studying World War 1 in my Social Science class. I found the trip heaps of fun! I love learning History! It's so interesting to see what happened in the past and compare that to now. Their defence techniques they used during the World Wars were so basic and old fashioned. It's so basic. They would build wooden fences around their village to protect it and also the could aim their weapons out the holes in the sides. It is so basic but it works!Probably the most interesting part of the exhibition was looking at the trenches. Men lived in the trenches together for about 4 years during the war. I learnt from the trench displays that men in the trenches started to get attracted to one another because they hadn't had woman contact for a while that they just got attracted to the men they lived with. Most of them had wives back at home too. The trenches were dark and gloomy, I would NOT like to stay in them!I also enjoyed The Sanctuary and the hall with all the names in it. They made me feel really respectful and I was blown away with the amount of names there were. All of those men fought for our country and that made me really moved. I really liked the plank panels on one of the walls in the hall. It said "Let these panels never be filled" i thought that sent a very strong message.I think that the museum trip could have improved and been better. The work sheets that we had to fill in had too many questions! I was in too much of a rush to fill in the sheets than actually look around myself at all the other Interesting aspects of the World War sections. When i did look around myself I did find more important information more to the topic of what I was learning. The questions on the sheet were only small thing off the topic and not more to the point. Looking around myself was more educational for my learning! All up, the museum trip was a lot of fun and I learnt a lot from looking around!

1 click from danger blog review

Today in class we watched a youtube called "1 CLICK FROM DANGER"It sent strong message to the entire class I think. We now all know to be very protective of ourselves and not give out any personal information. It's amazing how they can gather a small amount of information and from that find out everything about you and your life. There are strange people out there that could be reading private information that you put about yourself on your online pages. So if you have Private information then take it off. Also if you are a strange person that does that kind of stuff GET OFF MY PAGE!Online profiles aren't dangerous as long as you don't give out any personal information! I strongly advice not to add or talk to people that you don't know. For all you know they could say they are a girl the same age as you when really they could be a dirty old 50 year old man!I thought that it was a good clip that sent a strong message and made people who watched it now very cautious. I think that all schools should show their students this because a lot of kids have online profile and could be in as much danger as the girl in the clip was in. The girl in the clip was a normal 14 year old girl that started to talk to someone who she didn't know online. The person she was talking to said she was a 24 year old woman or something but really it was a 55 year old pedophile man! He tracked her down.It could happen to anyone! So be cautious and don't give out any personal information on your online profiles!

HOLIDAYS

I have been waiting for term 1 holiday for so long!
I have been longing for them since the start of school 2008.

As the days roll by I get closer and closer to what I’ve been waiting for.
At the moment I am only a week away from the holidays.
I love the holidays because that means no school, plus two weeks of doing whatever I want. I can spend time with my dad who I don’t live with and I can spend time with my friends who I also don’t live with. Of course ha-ha!

Major problem

I know this is probably a major problem for almost everyone in the world so really I can’t complain. But I’m going to put this out there anyway. I want money! The expense of the things I like to buy cost a fortune and I don’t have that kind of money!

My life style takes a fortunate to live and I just don’t have that!
I badly need a job but I would prefer to just win lotto. Everybody would rather win lotto too though. So maybe I just need to change my lifestyle a bit and only buy what is absolutely necessary! This is going to be very difficult but we all have to face obstacles during our lives, it’s only fair.

I’m still hoping to win lotto in the future though!

MUSIC

I really love music!

Music is an awesome way of expressing our feelings. I t is also an awesome way of setting your feelings, If that makes sense? It makes sense to be because I’m trying to explain how it makes me feel. What I’m trying to say is music is a great way of creating a mood and setting a mood. There are heaps of different types of music and that way you don’t get sick of 1 type.

I personally hate rock and heavy, horrible music like that. I like rap, hip hop and R’N’B’. Mostly rap though. I also like reggae. Reggae I so sweet and I like old school music thanks to my old man and lady. Ha-ha.

In conclusion music is awesome it is not something that only a few people like, everyone can like it because there are so many different types.

I LOVE MUSIC!

NO AIR

Tell me how I'm supposed 2 breathe with no air?

If I should die before I wake
Its cause you took my breath away
Losing you is like living in a world with no air
Oh

I'm here alone didn't want to leave
My heart won't move it's incomplete
If there was a way that I could make you understand

But how do you expect me to live alone with just me? Because my world revolves around you it's so hard for me to breathe

[
Tell me how I'm supposed to breathe with no air?
Can't live, can't breathe with no air
It's how I feel whenever you ain't there
It's no air, no air
Got me out here in the water so deep
Tell me how you going to breathe without me?
If you ain't here I just can't breathe
It's no air, no air

I walk, I ran, I jump, I flew
Right off the ground to float to you
With no gravity to hold me down for real

But somehow I'm still alive inside
You took my breathe but I survived
I don't how but I don't even care

So how do you expect me to live alone with just me? Because my world revolves around you it's so hard for me to breathe

Tell me how I'm supposed 2 breathe with no air?
Can't live, can't breathe with no air
It's how I feel whenever you ain't there
It's no air, no air
Got me out here in the water so deep
Tell me how you going to breathe without me?
If you ain't here I just can't breathe
It's no air, no air

No air, air
No more
It's no air, no air

Tell me how I'm supposed 2 breathe with no air?
Can't live, can't breathe with no air
It's how I feel whenever you ain't there
It's no air, no air
Got me out here in the water so deep
Tell me how you going to breathe without me?
If you ain't here I just can't breathe
It's no air, no air

No air, no air

So how do you expect me to live alone with just me? Because my world revolves around you it's so hard for me to breathe

Tell me how I'm supposed 2 breathe with no air?
Can't live, can't breathe with no air
It's how I feel whenever you ain't there
It's no air, no air

Got me out here in the water so deep
Tell me how you going to breathe without me?
If you ain't here I just can't breathe
It's no air, no air........

This is a pretty cool song. So here are the lyrics to it

The Noodle Canteen

The Noodle Canteen is so madly delicious!
I would live off just eating that and not get sick of it! The range, flavour, authentic tastes. What is not to like? NOTHING! It is everything I could have asked for As a matter of fact I’m very hungry and craving it right now since I’m writing about it!

One good reason for all this fuss over the Noodle Canteen is because you get a very good amount in a small carton too. I can never finish all that you get in one meal which is an upside so you can keep it and make two meals out of it.

Another good point is that it seems pretty healthy. Unlike KFC or Burger king. It has healthy vegetables which I love! I am not a fussy child with vegetables.

Altogether it is awesome and I can not think of one moment in my life when I wouldn’t want it! I want it right now!

YUMMY!

The Zoo Trip

The Zoo trip with Whangaparaoa College School was very fun!
It was interesting to watch animals in their own habitats and how they to react to viewers. Some of the animals showed off when you were watching them trying to do fancy tricks. My favourite part of the Zoo is usually the Mare Cat tunnels but unfortunately some people spoiled it for my school and they banned our school for going in them. SLACK!
Oh well.

Apart from that I really enjoyed the foamy soap used in the toilets, it was so amazing!
No, but really I liked the Tigers. Up close they are an extraordinary animal!
They are a bright orange and black colour and have such defined details to them. That sounds so obvious because you probably know that. But when they are right next to you with just glass parting you they are amazing to watch!

Something boring about the Zoo trip was filling out the worksheets. But I can’t complain. They were not as bad as the Museum trip sheets.

I also quite liked how the school gave us permission to buy food from the Zoo because usually we are not allowed to buy our food on our school trips. I was over the moon at this opportunity because the night before the trip I had a terrible dream that I was at the Zoo and wanted an ice-cream but had no money! So first thing I did when I got up was put money in my bag. Then when I want to the Zoo on the day I could buy and ice-cream. True fact, I brought two and they were delicious!

Overall the ups and downs added up and the Auckland Zoo trip was fun and much better than sitting in class doing book work!

SOME STRONG WORDS!

Sometimes you got to run away to see if anyone will run after you. Sometimes you got to talk quieter just to see whose listening. Sometimes you got to step up and fight just to see who’s standing by your side. Sometimes you got to make a wrong decision to see who’s there to fix it. Sometimes you got to let go of the one you love just to see if they love you enough to come back. Sometimes We Have To Take Risks Otherwise We Will Never Have Known What Would Have Happened!

This is so soft and sappy. I did’t write this it’s just a way of making more blog entries. Ha-ha
